Biography

Ruixiang (Roy) Wang received his B.A. in economics from Beijing Normal University and M.S. in management science and engineering from University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a college lecturer in China before moving to the United States in 2011, after which he received his M.A. in psychology and PhD in behavioral neuroscience from University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. He completed his initial postdoc training in Buffalo, NY, studying monoaminergic signaling in autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and drug addiction. In 2021, he joined Marcinkiewcz lab to study monoaminergic signaling in alcohol use disorder and Alzheimer’s disease. He likes listening to audiobooks and podcasts on a variety of topics in his spare time.
