Tien Tran is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He graduated in December of 2023 with a Psychology major and he is planning to further his education, with either a Masters or P.h.D. Tien originally joined the Marcinkiewcz lab in winter of 2021 as an undergraduate research assistant; he now works as a full-time Research Assistant. Tien's current research interests are in alcohol exposure and pain, and he aims to delve into the world of neurological disorders or Alzheimer’s Disease. Outside of the lab, he enjoys tending his plants, breeding geckos, and lifting heavy plates.
