Zeid, originally from Syria, moved to the United States to pursue a better education. He is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Iowa, and is studying Biomedical Science on the pre-medicine track. Zeid has been contributing to the Marcinkiewicz Lab since March of 2023 where he developed his interest in research in the neuroscience field. He hopes to continue learning in the lab, while continuing his track of becoming a doctor. Outside of the lab, he enjoys weightlifting, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
